Semester ended mid may...that gave me a lot of time to catch movies i was waiting 4...These movies r by new age directors...they want to show something different in a completely different way...these movies r parzania, Ek chalis ki last local n metro...
parzania:makes us realize how innocent people would have gone through in the riots...its not about hindu or muslim but abt the suffering of common indian...also reminds us of the line "An eye 4 n eye makes the whole world blind"...godhra...was followed by riots...then bomb blasts in mumbai trains and that continues....
eckll: kudos to the director...a story of 2.25 hrs...1 main character...his story...and how several other characters contribute to his story...commercial movie still realistic...dark comedy used beautifully...rajni cameo is superb...thanks for such a movie...abhay deol is one brave actor...
metro: another brilliant effort...strong performances...fresh approach to tell stories...use of rock band to express the feelings of the characters brilliant...songs and lyrics mindblowing...like ECKLL commercial movie but still realistic...thers no KK singing for shilpa...thers no irrfan begging for love...thers no item number...ther r no characters which r not required in the movie...for e.g. people like raju srivastava etc.
